My artwork is inspired by the places that hold meaning - homes, churches, wedding venues and local businesses. Certain locations have the power to make us feel belonging, nostalgia, and peace. It's bittersweet to leave them behind as life changes. I feel inspired by these sentimental places and the idea of preserving them in a tangible way.
As a bit of a perfectionist, I’m drawn to architectural details and the precision they require. At the same time, I love the gentleness of watercolor and the way it softens sharp lines and brings warmth and movement to art. I spend lots of time riding my bike and hiking, and the shades of blue and green found throughout nature often find their way into my paintings. This balance between detail and colorful whimsy is what shapes my style.
Each piece is painted with care and fueled by Bengal Spice tea and sparkling water.
